Think your AMV has what it takes to become a legend? Colossalcon North is bringing back its AMV Competition with the MYTHS AND LEGENDS EDITION! Whether you're crafting an epic edit inspired by Greek mythology, bringing the FIRE with music from EPIC: The Musical, or creating something legendary from your favorite anime, we want to see what you've got! Entries are open in Comedy, Focus, and Mix categories, with a maximum of two submissions per editor. All ages entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM CDT on November 8, 2026.

But what if your AMV is a little too spicy for the gods? Introducing the DEBUT of the COLOSSALCON NORTH 18+ AMV SHOWCASE! After years of requests, we're opening the door to mature AMVs featuring content that might not be suitable for a general audience. Entries can be up to five minutes long, and there's no limit on submissions for our inaugural year. All 18+ entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM CDT on November 9, 2026. This showcase is in-person only, and all attendees must be 18 or older.

Both events welcome individual editors and collaborations, and we're open to anything anime-adjacent. One member of your group must be preregistered for Colossalcon North to enter. Check out the rules and submission forms linked below!
