    Jasmine James, known by her alias name CutiePieSensei, is an American cosplayer, fashion designer, social media influencer, and artist based out of Atlanta, GA. By combining her love of gaming, comics, anime, and art in general, Jasmine was able to find cosplay as the perfect outlet to unleash her creativity. She’s also a co-founder and designer for the new pop-culture inspired fashion brand, Fira X Wear.  By day, she works as a concept artist for the game Smite, where she combines her knowledge of physical costume construction with her artistic knowledge to create concepts for both her cosplays and the game. She is also known for her appearances on Marvel 616 and Marvel Becoming.

    Cosplayers Join The Colossalcon North Meet & Greet! The Colossalcon North Cosplay Meet is for any cosplayer (new or veteran) who wants to see fans, make new friends & fans, and sell prints/merch for free.

    Panel Submissions for Colossalcon North 2025 are now open! The form will close September 19th, 2025, at 11:55 pm EST, and acceptance/waitlist notifications will be sent out beginning mid-September!

  • Guest Panelist Announcement: Samurai Dan

    Daniel and Jillian Coglan, a husband-and-wife team, are full-time martial arts instructors who run a traditional samurai training center in Iowa. They have a combined 35 years of experience.

    Beyond their martial skills, the dynamic duo collaborated to write, direct, host, and star in a 12-episode TV series entitled “The Way of the Samurai.”

    Daniel is also an author. He has published several martial arts articles and is currently working on his second full-length novel.

  • Guest Announcement: Voltz & Stripper Vash

    Voltz and StripperVash (or Jim and Zach) have been hosting events at conventions across the country for nearly fifteen years. They are excited to be returning to Colossalcon North as the lovable Hosts we’ve always known. Originally from the Midwest, Zach and Jim have competed together in masquerades, focusing primarily on skits and performance categories before transitioning into full-time hosting duties. They used to cosplay, and now they sort of don’t, but they’ll make sure that any event they host is a great time!

  • Guest Announcement: Kazha

    Kazha is a rock band founded by Japanese singer-songwriter Kazuha Oda (Kazha) and guitarist Hideki Matsushige in 2009. Kazuha is a classically trained singer who has worked in various genres of music from Classic to Heavy  Metal. Her work has appeared on the iTunes Top 100 charts of numerous countries for a significant amount of time. 

    In 2011, they obtained their first nonimmigrant US Visa and toured more than 35 states within the first two years. Since then, they have been performing at numerous Anime and Comic Conventions and Festivals around the world. Kazha was originally a four-piece band, but in 2014 it became a three-piece band, with Kazuha on both bass and vocals. They have shared the stage with national artists such as George Lynch, LA Guns, Y&T, Trapt, Adelitas Way, and King’s X. 

    Kazha is from Japan but represents the Birth Place of Rock’N’Roll Memphis TN as an Official “Music Export Memphis” Ambassador and is currently touring nationally in the USA.

Our live shows are an interactive, high-energy, unique experience, encouraging audiences to get involved with the push of a button. We have opened for acts from They Might Be Giants to Andrew WK across the US, and have songs featuring Matt Mercer, Mega Ran, I Fight Dragons, Psychostick, & Ashly Burch. There are many places you may have already heard Professor Shyguy, including singing the outro song for Dragon Ball Super, The Indoor Kids podcast hosted by Kumail Nanjiani & Emily Gordon, Angry Video Game Nerd’s YouTube channel, GuudeBoulderfist, Ports Center, or games like Infernax.

  • Cosplay Meet & Greet Form Open!

    We’ve had Craft Fairs for Artists, Flea Markets for Thrifting, and CCGs for Cards, and this year the Cosplay Meet & Greet returns! The Cosplay M&G is for any cosplayer new to the scene or a veteran to see fans, make new friends & fans, and sell prints/merch for free.

    The event will be held Friday of the con from 3 pm – 9 pm and is open to all attendees with a Friday or Multi-Day Badge. All you have to do is fill out the form at the bottom of the page and you are guaranteed a 6′ table to promote and sell at during the Meet and Greet, being listed on our website, and a discount code for our badges for you (if you choose to buy your badge after filling out the form), your friends, and your community/fans!
