• Event Announcement: Nerds in Heat Burlesque

    A sensual after hours 18+ show featurings a cast of characters that will heat up the night. We invite you to join us for a multitude of performances, featuring nerdlesque (cosplay burlesque) and cosplay performance. This is one show you will not want to miss, Friday November 22nd at 10pm in Events 2.

  • Guest Panelist Announcement: Voltz & Stripper Vash

    Voltz and StripperVash (or Jim and Zach) have been hosting events at conventions across the country for nearly fifteen years and are excited to be returning to Colossalcon as the lovable Hosts we’ve always known. Originating from the midwest originally, Zach and Jim have competed together in masquerades, focusing primarily on skits and performance categories before transitioning into full-time hosting duties. They used to cosplay, and now they sorta don’t, but they’ll make sure that any event they host is a great time!

  • Guest Announcement: Anne Yatco

    Anne Yatco is a Filipino American voice actor (and former forensic scientist). She is most well-known as the English voice of Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact, Nobara Kugisaki in Jujutsu Kaisen, and Sabine in Miraculous Ladybug. Anime credits include Pompo the Cinephile, Vampire in the Garden, The Prince of Tennis, Platinum End, Blue Period, Sakugan, To Your Eternity, Beastars, Violet Evergarden: the Movie, The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter, Godzilla Singular Point, Devilman Crybaby, and I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years.

    Video game credits include Fire Emblem Heroes, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Shadowverse, Smite, Paladins, Naraka Bladepoint, Epic Seven, Onmyoji Arena, Guardian Tales, Wasteland 3, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Anne is also a Twitch Partner, and regularly streams Genshin Impact and other games.

    Back again this year is Northern Splash Idol Festival! Come see some exciting idol performers ready to dazzle you under ColossalCon North’s stage light! Hosted by Chuseibu Stage Events.

    Chu♡seibu Stage is an idol event organization based in the upper Midwest. Our mission is to bridge the gap between talented Jpop idol performers and the stage. In collaboration with conventions, we aim to host exciting variety showcases inspired by Taiban in Japan.

  • Guest Panelist Announcement: Nerds Know

    Nerds Know is the premiere entertainment panel group of South Florida. This collective of talented nerds has extensive knowledge in virtually every field that would matter to geeks, nerds, and otaku alike! Disney, Retro TV, Anime, Japanese culture, cartoons, all things retro, comics, and institutional convention knowledge are just a few of the topics the Nerds Know has under their belts. But don’t get too comfortable in your seats, as their events all have huge audience participation, so you won’t have a chance to be bored in your seats!

    Individually Nerds Know members have been hosting panels for over ten years but officially joined forces in 2016 to pool their collective talents. The group is made of convention veterans, college professors, and convention professionals. They have seen it all and want to share their love of all things nerdy with you!

  • Performance Guest Announcement: DJ Khek

    “See that guy in the corner with his arms crossed? I’m gonna get him to dance to Barbie Girl”

    This is part of the mentality and challenge Khek enjoys as a DJ. A battle DJ from Milwaukee with club residencies that range from Emo Pop Punk, Country, Southeast Asian to EDM. He also almost hit Hulk Hogan with a car in Miami.

  • It’s Not A Phase (Emo Dance Party)

    Dust off your rubber bracelets, your vans and that one band tee you’d always wear. We’ll be blasting all your favorite emo, pop punk and metalcore songs all night. It will feel like warped tour again without having to stand outside in the heat waiting for your favorite band to play. Get ready to join Likely Vain for a trip back to the good ol’ days.

  • Guest Panelist Announcement: Samurai Dan

    The husband and wife team of Daniel and Jillian Coglan are full-time martial art instructors, running a traditional samurai training center in Iowa, and have a combined 35 years of experience.

    Beyond their martial skills, the dynamic duo collaborated to write, direct, host, and star in a 12 episode TV series entitled, “The Way of The Samurai.”

    Daniel is also an author, with several martial art articles published, and is currently working on his second full-length novel.
