Guest Panelist Announcement: The Chalk Twins
An extraordinary pair of artists, the Chalk Twins are renowned for their chalk murals of epic proportions. Traveling the world in pursuit of artistic mastery, they are a regular installment at conventions and events across the country, where they produce massive chalk masterpieces live. The Chalk Twins are true in advertising – they are twins, and they work together with soft pastel chalk. When you see them, we encourage you to get down low and talk to them. They would be glad to answer questions and talk about art, geeky stuff, twin stuff – whatever you like. They don’t bite. We promise.

Guest DJ Announcement: DJ Amaya
Notorious American J-Pop/K-Pop Remixer, Composer, Skilled Instrumentalist, and Producer, DJ Amaya began making waves when he started introducing audiences to Japanese dance music at anime conventions across the USA, which led to him playing shows in Japan, Singapore, and Sweden as well. Along the way he released 4 full length albums of original music, collaborated with Japanese artists, and has been commissioned to produce tracks and remixes for artists around the globe.
2014 Amaya formed MINIKOMA☆ with popular J-Pop/K-Pop cover artist “Yabisi”, together, the duo created original songs in Japanese that span many genres and released their first full-length album in Japan, “EYES” in April 2016, and performed live to a packed crowd at Anime-Expo 2016 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
July 2016 DJ Amaya contributed a remix for Re:animation’s Remix Compilation “Re:boots Legendary Anime Song Remixes” which features prominent bootleg remixers from the anisong community worldwide. Public Musume’s album “初恋とはなんぞや” features the track “おちんぎんちょう�?い” with music produced by DJ Amaya. Furthermore, late July 2016 also will see the release of “Brilliant Connect” by ex-Rhymeberry member 信岡ひかる(Nobuoka Hikaru) which was composed/arranged By DJ Amaya in collaboration with 里本あすか (Pastel Pants).

Guest DJ Announcement: Kuro Usagi
Kuro Usagi, [Formerly Artist and Legendary DJ: Revolution Boi], has been in the Electronic Dance scene for decades, as an avid listener and vivid performer. His influences from Progressive House, Trance, and Drum and Bass have made him notable for his uplifting compilations that have been recognized around the globe. As a traveling DJ, Kuro Usagi’s experiences with a diverse range of genres led to the development of a unique ability to evoke and capture the emotional state of mind of his listening audience. Sharing the subcultures of Japanese EDM, Anime, and Idol Culture, and has become a huge staple performer for the Anime Industry across the nation.

Guest Panelist Announcement: Alyxe Khei’s Armor Academies
Alyxe has been working with leather and metal for over fifteen years. After a decade of working in the artist alley, they began running classes to pass their crafting skills on to the next generation of cosplayers. When not teaching classes, they enjoy training in martial arts in foreign countries and collecting superfluous master’s degrees.

You may know them from “Watch 2B eat an entire rotisserie chicken” or “Watch Zero Two eat an entire home-baked lasagna in the Dashcon ballpit”. The Smooth Brain Rebellion is back to baffle you again with “Watch Nami Eat Two Pounds Of King Crab Legs In A Victorian Era Bathtub” as well as “Speedwagon VS your waifu”. Hailing from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, this troupe of misfits has been subjecting their signature IQ-melting panels to the tri-state area since 2017.
Witness wacky improv, ridiculous performances, and their signature guitar breaks! There’s only one thing more obscene than their panels, and it’s the prizes! Air Bud on VHS? 100 copies of Madden on the PS2? You won’t want to miss out! They guarantee you’ll never be the same after joining the rebellion. All of those pesky wrinkles on your brain will be carefully smoothed out, one at a time! -
Guest Panelist Announcement: Nerds in Heat
Nerds In Heat with Betsey Beau Peep is seeking performers for its 1.5-hour-long Colossalcon North show on Friday, November 21st at 9pm. Nerds in Heat is an 18+, primarily nerdlesque, variety show. Show me your best anime/pop culture act! I am asking all performers to commit to two acts at least 3-5 minutes in length. You will need to complete a separate form for each act. No characters under 18 are accepted. I accept all performance art, but cannot accommodate aerial, fire, or messy acts.

Cosnanigans Variety Show
Calling all talented geeks, nerds, and everyone in between. LVC Productions (formerly La Vie Cosplay) is looking for brilliant performers to participate in a PG-13 variety show at Colossalcon North! We are looking for an array of acts such as drag, singing, dancing, theatre, stage combat, flow, magic, spoken word, comedy, and more.
