Guest Announcement: Jamieson Price

Jamieson’s long career spans stage, screen, and microphone. A veteran of the dubbing community since the mid-’90’s, he has replaced dialogue in many animation and live action series and features, from the iconic anime film Akira to the award-winning Fate Zero series, from Bleach to ZOM100 and much more. His interactive credits include the announcer for Mortal Kombat 9, X, and 11, and Ermac in MK X and MK 1; Sojiro Sakura in Persona 5, Baine Bloodhoof (and many others) in World of Warcraft; The Abomination in the Marvel’s Avengers game; Garen in League of Legends; The Commander in Monster Hunter World; the male Monk in Diablo III; Wulfgar in Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance; The Gulper – a Skylanders villain, and so many more.

On screen he has been in the films The Patriot; The Secret Kingdom; the short films Carried Away and Bounty; television: Westworld; Without a Trace; Days of our Lives; According to Jim; Frasier; Unsolved Mysteries and heard as the voice of Dark Mayhem in Nickelodeon’s The Thundermans.

He won the male narrator competition for the ACX audiobook exchange and narrated Exile, Texas by Roxanne Longstreet Conrad. Jamieson also read the short story Farewell to the Master for the Sony Pictures Classics re-release of The Day the Earth Stood Still.

Jamieson announced graduates’ names at Commencement Ceremonies for Cal State Long Beach for over twenty years and now announces the names at Chapman University, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and Long Beach City College.

Jamieson teaches voice acting workshops, coaches online, and is a part-time lecturer in the Theater Department at Cal State Long Beach.
